Two masked suspects hit up 3 convenience stores within an hour

TUCSON - Tucson Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed three convenience stores on Sept. 15.

The robberies-- all of which occured within an hour of each other-- happened in the late hours in the midtown Tucson area, Tucson Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

In each case, the two suspects entered the store with handguns. One demanded money while ther other took food, liquor and cigarettes, Widmer said.

No one was hurt in the incidents, Widmer said.

The suspects are described as being in their 20s. One was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and tan shorts. The other suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, white and gray long sleeved shirt and jeans.

Police say the suspects robbed the following stores:

  • 11:11 p.m. - Circle K located at 8702 East Speedway Boulevard
  • 11:45 p.m. - Quik Mart located at 4477 East 5th Street
  • 11:57 p.m. - Circle K located at 3541 East Fort Lowell Road
