UA Football Coach Rich Rodriguez Expresses Concerns After Tuesday Practice

The U of A football team is just ten days away from opening up the season against UNLV. Coach Rich Rodriguez chimed in on a few of his players, and some of the "media interests of the day" at Tuesday's practice.

Of course, much as been made of Arizona's most experienced group heading into the 2014 season: the offensive line.

This is what Rich Rod had to say about OL Freddie Tagoloa:
"Freddie is a natural-born leader. The best thing about him is his work ethic. He's always one of the first in the weight room and the last to leave, and he has to sit out a year."

Four players are still battling it out for starting quarterback. At this point, Rich Rodriguez is giving -no- indication who will start as the signal caller against UNLV.

Here's what Rich Rod had to say about some of his quarterbacks, and the pressure they'll be under:
"It's harder to do it during a drive. I don't want them to worry about making mistakes during a game, unless it's an egregious mistake. They shouldn't worry about little under throws or over throws but it depends on how they are playing. If a guy is playing well, he won't come out, and if a guy isn't playing well, he will come out."

Rich Rodriguez also commented on special teams:
"We did kickoffs this morning, and we will work on our specialty kicks this afternoon. We have a lot of work to do with that. It's a big emphasis for us tomorrow and Thursday. We have been doing field goals every day, and we're still figuring out who the guy will be. It's still close. Casey Skowron was in the lead coming into camp, and he has gotten better, but so have the other guys."
