LAS VEGAS - UCLA used a 12-0 run early in the first half to gather a 43-40 lead over Arizona at halftime in the PAC-12 Championship.
After an Aaron Gordon three gave the Cats a 3-2 lead, the Bruins used their fast break offense to re-claim the lead for the remainder of the half.
Gabe York had a big half for the Wildcats, knocking down three three-pointers, good for nine points. The Wildcats were 5-7 from beyond the arc. However, the Bruins shot nearly 60% from the field and had no turnovers in the first half.
Arizona used an 11-2 run to close the gap to one point, highlighted by an Aaron Gordon alley-oop to Nick Johnson that brought the sea of red to its feet.
