UPDATE: 9-year-old girl shot in road rage gun battle

TUCSON - A 9-year-old girl was hospitalized Thursday evening after she was shot during a case of road rage.

It happened just after 6 p.m. in the area of Campbell and Irvington.

According to Sergeant Pete Dugan, the shooting happened during a road rage incident, and a 9-year-old girl was shot in the leg.

She is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at UAMC.

Police are looking for a white Dodge Neon with faded paint and temporary tags.
