UPDATE: Arrest made in deadly southside shooting

TUCSON - Tucson police have arrested a man in connection with a homicide.

Officers found 38-year old Patrick Dansdill at his home in the 600 block of East 9th Street Saturday afternoon.

Police say Dansdill shot through a door in the 300 block of West 44th Street, near Ajo and Interstate 10, killing 31-year old Ramon Garcia.

Homicide detectives believe Garcia spoke with the Dansdill briefly at the front door of the home. At one point, police say Dansdill pulled out a handgun and Garcia immediately closed the door. Dandsill allegedly fired through the door striking Garcia.

Dansdill was booked into the Pima County Jail for 1 count of 2nd degree murder.
