UPDATE: Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 have reopened at Avra Valley Road following a crash involving a truck and a passenger vehicle, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Delays extend about two miles.

TUCSON - Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed at Tangerine Road because of a crash involving a truck and a passenger vehicle at Avra Valley Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety expects the freeway to be closed for several hours.

Traffic is being detoured to the I-10 frontage road and returned to the freeway at Twin Peaks. The location is just inside Tucson's northern boundary.
