Warm work week follows cool, wet weekend

TUCSON - Work week warming trend follows this weekend's winter storm.

In the wake of yesterday's storm the Old Pueblo topped out 6° below average at 65° to round out the weekend, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. However, temperatures will return right back to where they should be for early March by Monday afternoon with a forecast high of 71°.

A weak ridge of high pressure will build in by midweek driving the daytime highs back to about 10° above average. The low 80°s will return under mostly sunny skies by Wednesday with little change expected from there heading into next weekend.
