TUCSON - Another widespread freeze will give way to warmer temperatures starting today.
Tucson International bottomed out at 34 this morning but many locations around the Old Pueblo started the day off in the upper 20s, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Lows have plummeted into the 30s for about eight straight mornings now and the cool starts stick around for the next several days.
At least warmer daytime highs will return starting this afternoon with a forecast high of 58 in Tucson, five degrees warmer than yesterday. High pressure builds into Southern Arizona this weekend to continue our warming trend. By Saturday and Sunday normal highs are back putting Tucson in the mid 60s.
