Meteorologist John Patrick is an Arizona native and couldn't be happier to call Tucson his new home. He joined KVOA in March of 2012 after tracking the weather in Yuma, AZ as KSWT's main meteorologist. He considers himself lucky to have started his career in sunny Arizona and can't wait to continue it here while giving KVOA's viewers the most accurate forecast.

Originally from Phoenix, AZ the summer monsoon is what got John interested in meteorology/climatology at a young age. He pursued a career in the field earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2010. However, he doesn't want you to hold his Sun Devil roots against him and ensures he will try his best to make the Wildcats his number one college team.

Sports are another one of John's passions, in fact, on top of being KSWT's meteorologist he was also the sportscaster for the nightly news. Whenever John isn't studying the weather or cheering on his favorite teams you can find him outside enjoying the beautiful desert southwest.

He loves the outdoors for anything Mother Nature has to offer; camping, hiking, and fishing are some of his favorite activities. He can't wait to get out there and see what Tucson has to offer.
