Weekend warmth, winds whip up next week

TUCSON - Second day in a row of 90 degree temps in the Old Pueblo.

High pressure departing to the east today leaves behind gusty winds and highs in the low 90's, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Winds up to 20 MPH are possible from Tucson and points east, accompanied by mostly sunny skies.

The weekend forecast looks great as Tucson tops out in the low/mid 80's under lots of sunshine.

A cold front moves in early next week, bringing gusty winds, blowing dust and cooler temps. Partly cloudy skies are expected Monday and Tuesday, with high temps dropping to the 70's the middle of next week.
