TUCSON - As Arizona preps for the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, many in Tucson are wondering what is Gildan the company behind the sponsorship?

Gildan is an active wear company, and News 4 Tucson's Rebecca Taylor has a personal connection to the charity work they do.

Last summer while in Nashville, Gildan broke a Guinness World Record when it unveiled the World's Largest T-shirt, nearly the size of a football field.

It took 40 volunteers including Taylor three long hours to straighten.

The ginormous shirt was chopped up and made into 12-thousand regular size shirts.

They were donated to the County Music Association's music education initiative, supporting music in schools.

As Taylor found out, the Nashville heat and humidity served as a natural fabric iron for the giant t-shirt.
