TUCSON - The coldest temperatures to hit the Lower 48 in almost two decades has people buzzing.
If you were on social media yesterday, you undoubtedly came across several mentions of the country's cold snap being caused by a "polar vortex". This meteorological term has been used (and misused) by many, causing much confusion.
