Winter returns to southwest, northeast

TUCSON - Old Man Winter is back in business in the Sonoran Desert.

A cold front increases clouds and winds this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. 30 MPH southwest winds may create localized areas of blowing dust along I-10 today, north of Marana and east of Benson. Expect highs in the 70's for Tucson.

Scattered showers and snow above 4,000 feet start your Saturday morning, tapering off in the afternoon. A widespread freeze is on tap for Sunday morning before a second storm system moves in. Monday sees a slight chance of showers and another round of freezing temps during the overnight hours.
