Woman busted with $85K worth of meth at border

LUKEVILLE, AZ - A Phoenix woman was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a failed drug smuggling attempt through the Lukeville Port.
Customs and Border Protection officers Inspected, 23 year old, Monica Guaydacan's Ford truck when she applied for entry at the border. During the inspection, a CBP narcotics detection canine alerted to the presence of drugs in the front bumper.
Officers found 5.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine inside a hidden compartment and elsewhere in the front bumper. The drugs and vehicle were processed for seizure. Guaydacan was then turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
