TUCSON - Tucson Police are on the scene of a shooting on the south side.
It happened just after 11:30 a.m. Monday in the 5600 block of South Park Avenue, near Drexel Road, according to Tucson Police Department spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer.
A woman was shot and at the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Widmer said,
Reports indicate that the bullet came from a neighboring apartment when someone was cleaning their gun and it accidentally discharged, Widmer added.
Officers on scene found the weapon and have it in their custody, Widmer.
