Meteorologist Jeff Beamish: Another day, another fantastic forecast. Mother Nature cranks the thermostat up to the mid 70's across Tucson this afternoon, which is about 5-7 degrees above average for late February. High pressure off the California coast will continue to control the weather here through the first half of the weekend, with temps peaking close to 80 Saturday. A slight "cool-down" rounds on the remainder of the extended forecast, as temps drop to the low 70's early next week.
