TUCSON - The family of a Tucson man shot and left to die on the side of the road wants justice.

They're hoping the public can help.

Here are the quick facts: On Friday, November 16 two men were shot in the backseat of a car.

It happened near Pantano and Escalante around 11-pm.

Police say the driver who pulled the trigger, threw both men out of the vehicle and took off.

One man died, the other suffered critical injuries.

Loved ones of the man killed describe their loss.

At 18, Andrew Liska's future looked bright.

The recent high school graduate doted on his god-daughter.

Crystal Wainwright, Andrew's sister can't believe he's gone, let alone how it happened.

"He shot my brother and dumped him on the side of the road," said Wainwright.

She says it happened just two blocks away from their mom's house.

Andrew left to meet up with friends but never came home.

"She found the crime scene, she talked to the officer, demanded to know if her son was there, she immediately called me, your brother has been shot I'm going to the hospital," said Wainwright.

"It was awful, it was probably one of the most awful moments of my life."

His injuries were too severe, Andrew died three days later.

The gunman, and his female passenger are still at large.

"Nobody deserves to die like this," says Joe Liska, Andrew's cousin.

The family hopes someone with information will come forward.

"As citizens of the U.S. and Pima County, we can't allow people to do this to our kids, we can't allow this kind of behavior," said Liska.

"I can't even describe what's it like to know that someone killed my brother and he's still out there," says Wainwright. "It's hard for me to think that anyone could do that to anybody. To be that heartless and evil."

Police are looking for a silver passenger car.

The suspect behind the wheel is described as a Hispanic man with short spiky hair.

There was also a woman in the passenger seat.

She's described as Hispanic, heavy set, with dark hair.

Anyone with information should call 911, or 88 crime.
