TUCSON - A couple of plays, the orchestra and a not-to-be-missed photography exhibit of animals in the wild.
It's all in today's Arts & Culture segment with Herb Stratford.
Two plays about what it means to be human are on stage at the Rogue Theatre through March 17.
Franz Kafka'a 'Monkey' and the famous play 'Metamorphosis', share the stage at Rogue and encourage viewers to consider exactly what it means to be a human being. The pairing of the two plays will also include pre-show music and a post-performance talk with the theatre company. Rogue Theatre is located in the Historic 'Y' on East University near 4th Avenue.
UApresents is hosting the acclaimed Saint Martin in the Fields Chamber Orchestra on March 3 at Centennial Hall. The group, one of the most traveled and respected in the world, will perform a program with cello and piano works by Bach, Hayden and Britten.
A new exhibition of photographs examines what happens in the desert once the sun goes down. Images by photographer Kate Breakey entitled 'Surveillance' capture desert denizens in a way we rarely see. The show is on display at the Temple Gallery, located in the Temple of Music and Art on South Scott Avenue downtown and is up through April 2.
