TUCSON - High praise for a "Hittin' the Trails" favorite, as a Saguaro National Park hike is garnering national attention.
Huffington Post this week named the Hugh Norris Trail one of the country's best Spring hikes!
The article notes the abundance of saguaros and sweeping vistas. We visited the Hugh Norris Trail a few years back, where we found out this trail has several doable switchbacks and elevation gain that comes in quick.
Lots of wildlife and wildflowers can be found there as the trail eventually ends up at Wasson Peak, the Tucson Mountains highest point.
