Posted 8:44 AM 10/8/2012 : Sunshine to 70's & showers in a matter of days
TUCSON - A Fall-like forecast which may involve the umbrella later this week.
High pressure over the Colorado River Valley brings near normal warmth today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Daytime highs this afternoon through Wednesday top out at or near 90 degrees under mostly sunny skies. These temps are a degree or two above normal.
Fall-like weather arrives later this week, as a cold front moves in from the Pacific. Gusty winds develop Thursday with isolated showers on tap Friday. High temps crash to the upper 70's for Tucson Friday afternoon as the front sweeps across the state. Temperatures late week look to run roughly 10 degrees below average.
Overnight lows through the week range from the low 60's tonight to the mid 50's by daybreak Saturday.
