Posted 8:18 AM 10/15/2012 : So Long, Fall: Warm weather returns for the week
TUCSON - After a weekend which saw an average high of 84 degrees, late Summer weather makes a return.
High pressure in the eastern Pacific and a weak low pressure trough off Baja California stay stuck in place this week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. The net effect for the Old Pueblo is highs in the upper 80's to low 90's now through the weekend. These temps are 5-7 degrees above average for mid-October.
Expect mostly sunny skies through Wednesday. Cloud cover increases some later this week, as Hurricane Paul weakens as it moves up the Baja coast. Any chance for rain looks to stay south of the International Border Thursday and Friday. Skies clear up some just in time for the new weekend.
Overnight lows the next several nights drop to the 50's and 60's.
