Posted 8:18 AM 10/18/2012 : Still feeling September, but a cool-down's coming
TUCSON - The 90's are back, but only for a limited time.
High pressure over the California coastline provides the warmth today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Daytime highs will be at or just shy of 90 degrees through Saturday under mostly sunny skies. Remnant cloud cover from what was Hurricane Paul looks to filter some of that sunshine today.
Next week sees temperatures being knocked back to October standards. A large, slow-moving trough sets up over the West Coast by Monday. High temperatures only peak in the low 80's by the middle of next week with mostly sunny skies, which is on-par with this time of year.
Overnight lows the next several nights range from the low 60's tonight to the upper 50's by daybreak Wednesday.
