Posted 8:59 AM 2/12/2013 : Another February freeze before late week warmth
TUCSON - The chill stays for another 24 hours before a wave of warm weather returns.
Temperatures today under mostly sunny skies run 15-20 degrees below average, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Metro Tucson tops out in the low 50's this afternoon, with overnight lows bottoming out in the mid/upper 20's. Mountaintops and low-lying areas in Cochise County will wake up to teens tomorrow morning.
High pressure regains control of our weather for the remainder of the week, with a string of 60's and 70's in the forecast tomorrow through early next week.
