Posted 9:36 AM 3/12/2013 : Springing into the 80's and 90's

TUCSON - A wave of warm weather wins the forecast over the next 7 days.

High pressure parked over the West Coast brings a return to the low 80's this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Plenty of sunshine is expected during the daytime hours through early next week. Overnight lows drop into the 50's metro-wide starting tonight.

Temps peak in the low 90's Thursday and Friday, marking the first 90 degree days of 2013. Thursday's forecast temp of 90 is slated to break the record high of 87 degrees set on that date in 2007. 80 degree temps are on tap for the weekend.
