TUCSON - A fine forecast if you're heading out of town on planes, trains & automobiles.

Expect partly cloudy skies across much of southern Arizona today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower east of a Safford-Willcox-Douglas line this afternoon as a weak trough passes by. Any shower near the New Mexico state line will be brief and not create any travel hangups.

High temps this afternoon peak in the low 80's for Tucson, with skies slowly clearing tonight.

Thanksgiving looks to have a large helping of sunshine with the thermometer peaking once again in the 80's. If Tucson hits 80 tomorrow, it would be the 1st 80 degrees Thanksgiving since 2007. High temps across southern Arizona will run almost 10 degrees above average for the holiday.

Another 80 degree run is on tap for Black Friday, with early bird shoppers starting the day with morning lows in the 50's. Early next week sees a cool-down coming, courtesy of a Pacific front grazing the northern part of the state. Highs by Tuesday drop to the low 70's in Tucson.
