PHOENIX - When it gets cold outside, most of us can throw on some extra blankets or break out those winter coats to stay warm.
Not possible for reptiles.
The scaly animals need special accommodations to make sure they don't freeze during these cold winter nights.
The Phoenix Zoo is prepping their cold-blooded friends for this weekend. Heater lamps, blankets, insulated dens are all included.
