TUCSON - In honor of Arizona's Centennial, award-winning chef Ryan Clark from the Lodge on the Desert shared a delicious recipe for rodeo week. Here's the recipe:
Clark's Arizona Centennial Chili
Ground beef
Jalapeno ranch beans (canned)
Black bean soup or pureed black beans (canned)
Tomato sauce or pureed tomatoes (canned)
Onion (diced)
Bell pepper (diced)
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Crushed red pepper
Brown the ground beef and set aside
Sautee the onion and bell pepper and add to the ground beef
Combine all remaining ingredients with hamburger and onion and bell pepper bring to simmer for 20 minutes and then heat on low for another 30 min.
