Representatives from the National Transportation Safety Board are expected in Oro Valley Tuesday as part of the investigation into the grounding of Boeing 787s.

Securaplane Technologies makes a charger for batteries used on the Dreamliner aircraft.

Fiona Greig, spokeswoman for Meggitt PLC said, " Securaplane has been invited to contribute to the investigation process being conducted by the US National Transportation Safety Board. Securaplane will naturally support this fully, which includes, in line with the NTSB's practices, discretion about the detail and course of that investigation to ensure the best possible outcome."

According to reports, investigators are expected to text and examine the charger and download memory from the controller for the auxiliary power unit.

According to Greig, 160 people work at the Oro Valley facility and plans for Securaplane to build another facility in Oro Valley late this year are still on schedule.
