TUCSON - After the 4th wettest January on record, February starts on a dry and warm note. High pressure parked over the southwest will remain the main weather influence through early next week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This afternoon features sunny skies and high temps in the upper 70's in Tucson. Across southern Arizona, daytime temperatures run up to 10° above average. The high pressure ridge sets up over the state by late week, driving highs into the 80's as early as Thursday. Peak of the warmth arrives Monday, with mid to upper 80's possible across Pima County. Overnight lows the next several nights drop to the 40's and 50's under clear skies. Watch Jeff for a complete look at your News 4 Tucson extended forecast today at noon.
