TUCSON - The work week starts with some spotty showers. A departing low pressure system develops isolated storms east of Tucson this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. The metro may see a stray shower or two move in from the east, but the best chance of rain today will be across Cochise, Graham & Greenlee Counties. Highs this afternoon reach the mid 80's in Tucson, near the seasonal average for late October. High pressure emerges from the Pacific later this week, bringing a strong warming trend. Low to mid 90's are in the forecast starting Thursday. Peak of the warmth arrives Friday, with near record highs possible under sunny skies.
